David is a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma with 20 years of professional experience. His past experience includes owning a consulting firm that specialized in Lean Six sigma training, as well as creating a Centre of Excellence in Continuous Improvement for the Alberta Investment Management Corporation in 2016.
Through training teams in Continuous Improvement methodologies — namely Lean Six Sigma and guiding Operational Excellence Continuous Improvement projects, David promotes the practice of applying Lean Six Sigma to identify root causes and solutions that will transform the way UBC and VPFO deliver services.
Born in the small town of Adstock, Quebec, David is a graduate of the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in Operations Management. Outside of work David also wears many hats. He is an avid cyclist and golfer, stamp collector, a crypto currency enthusiast, as well as the biggest fan of his daughter, who is a student in UBC Theatre.
